Danner's 8" tall Composite Toe Modern Firefighter Boots offer wildland firefighters the combination of alpine hiker's support and the high standards of an NFPA-certified boot.

With a fire-resistant, highly-durable, polishable full-grain leather upper and an oil and slip-resistant Vibram S587 Fire & Ice outsole, the exterior of this wildland firefighter boot looks great while keeping you safely on your feet, even in high temperatures and on angled or sloped ground. The rubber toe cap adds durability and reduces scuffs and abrasions and also exceeds ASTM F2413 18 I/75 C/75 EH. A replaceable front entry zipper makes it easier to don and doff these wildland fire boots.

The interior footbed is made out of highly comfortable open-cell Ortholite that gently cushions your toes, arches, and heels. These modern firefighter boots feature Danner's dry waterproof liner that protects your feet from moisture and resists body fluid borne pathogens, meeting or exceeding the ASTM F1671 13 standards. Your feet enjoy further safety thanks to the flexible but puncture proof midsole board, CSA certified to 2195.
