ZistosHD Rescue System

A Wireless Video System for Victim Location: The ZistosHD Rescue system is a state-of-the-art, wireless video inspection tool for technical search personnel involved in victim location operations. The system facilitates visual access to the inside of void spaces in collapsed structures.

It has been engineered to offer the highest resolution images viewed on specially configured, rugged 5" or 10" tablets. This new system design maximizes its suitability for use in different technical rescue applications. Configurations include an array of field-swappable telescoping poles, with remote articulation, which pan +/- 120 degrees, as well as a full line of interchangeable camera modules including thermal imaging. The system is also equipped with a highly sensitive microphone that can pick up the sounds of a victim that may be in near proximity, but not visible.

The heart of the ZistosHD Rescue Video System is the rugged, ergonomically designed weather-resistant, control handle, which offers integrated push buttons that facilitate all operations including illumination level control, still image capture, video record, zoom functions and motorized camera pan controls. These functions can also be remotely controlled using the ZistosHD tablet's touchscreen. The handle accepts a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that has an easily viewable, built-in battery charge level indicator. The battery runtime will typically last from 6+ hours depending on camera options. An external power input is also available as an option for alternate external power sources.
