  • Purified and De-Ionized Water (Aqua): Rescue Wipes contain Purified and De-Ionized Water (Aqua). Deionized water is purified by a chemical filtration system. This is simply one of the purest forms of water that rids of all ions such as sodium, calcium, iron, chloride, copper and bromide. It is used as solvent and as well acts as a spreading agent.
  • Glycerin: Glycerin is a humectant. It is a substance that helps pull in moisture from the surrounding environment to moisturize your skin. It is most commonly used for its emollient properties (blends ingredients together and maintains consistency). Glycerin is natural and derives from plant-based oils. Glycerin absorbs water and keeps skin moist. The substance is used in sweeteners, cosmetics and lubricants. Glycerin is very common in skin care products.
  • Green Tea Extract: Green Tea Extract is an herbal derivative from the natural green tea leave. Green Tea Extract is rich in antioxidants, which has a cell protecting function as well. Green Tea Extract also contains the Methylxanthines that stimulates skin microcirculation and therefore positively influences the tone and health of the skin. Slows down skin aging. Green Tea Extract is primarily known for its health benefits resulting highest in anti-aging and inhibits anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic properties.
  • Phenoxyethanol: Phenoxyethanol is a preservative and a healthy alternative to parabens. Phenoxyethanol fights bacteria. Most personal care products are water based, like Rescue Wipes, which makes an incredibly hospitable breeding ground for microorganisms. Without this preservative the product would be swarming with bacteria or fungi. Phenoxyethanol is a safe preservative and vital for ensuring safety. Phenoxyethanol is used in a very low concentration as a preservative as an alternative to parabens and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, which are proven to cause potential health risks. Phenoxyethanol is proven safe at low levels. It has been tested on the skin and eyes and it is non-irritating and non-sensitizing at levels of 2.2% or lower. Rescue Wipes withhold less than .5% of Phenoxyethanol. Phenoxyethanol also doesn’t react with other ingredients, air or light. This kind of stability makes it an especially effective preservative.
  • Cocamidopropyl Betaine: Rescue Wipes use Cocamidopropyl Betaine, a surfactant derived from coconut oil, which is very popular in personal care products. It is a common ingredient in many liquid skin cleansers. Surfactants are detergents that allow water to wash away the oil and dirt from your skin by decreasing the surface tension of water and making it easier to wet your face. Surfactants are both lipophilic; oil loving and hydrophilic water loving that enables them to remove dirt and oil from your skin. Some surfactants are harsher on skin than others, but Cocamidopropyl Betaine typically does not cause irritation. In fact, its often used in cleansers because of its thickening and foaming properties, which helps moisturize the skin.
  • Didecydimonium Chloride: Didecydimonium Chloride is used as well, acting as an antistatic agent, conditioning agent and a known surfactant and a component in conditioning products. Didecydimonium Chloride is an emulsifier that helps bind ingredients together and keep a formula from separating. Over time, it is possible for formulas in a product to separate. Rescue Wipes adds emulsifiers where needed to ensure that products provide the same performance use after use.
  • Lauralkonium Chloride: Also Lauralkonium Chloride acts as an antistatic agent and as well a frequently used preservative. This ingredient also has been in common use as an antimicrobial. Lauralkonium Chloride is paraben free, gluten free, MCI/MI free and coconut free. SKIN Safe revealed this ingredient is safe for use.
  • Polysorbate-20: Polysorbate-20 is used as a surfactant and emulsifier predominantly used in cleaners and personal care products. It is derived from Lauric Acid, a chemical mixture of sorbitol ethylene oxide and fruits and berries. Polysorbate-20 serves as a dispersing agent, acts as a lubricator and has a soothing effect on the skin.
  • Aloe Vera Extract: Aloe Vera Extract acts as a traditional medicine and serves a multipurpose skin treatment. Topical uses of aloe products are helpful for symptoms on certain condition such as psoriasis and certain rashes. Aloe Vera Extract helps give the skin moisture and prevents drying. Cosmetic products with aloe generally provide anti aging properties.
