Introducing the patent-pending technology of CHEMGUARD NFF 3x3 UL201 Non-Fluorinated Alcohol Resistant Firefighting Foam Concentrate which sets a new standard for Class B firefighting.

Industry Leading Performance - Like all non-fluorinated firefighting foam concentrates, CHEMGUARD NFF 3x3 UL201 foam concentrate is UL 162 tested and listed as a Synthetic Foam. Per this UL standard, the minimum design application rate for this foam is 0.16 gpm/ft2 (6.5 lpm/m2) for Type III hydrocarbon fuel fires.

  • Designed in accordance with NFPA Standard 11 for Low-, Medium-, and High-Expansion Foam
  • UL 162 listed as a synthetic alcohol resistant foam concentrate for use on hydrocarbon and polar solvent fuel fires
  • Independent, 3rd-party verified to achieve the same application rate as a UL 162 listed Alcohol Resistant Aqueous Film-Forming Foam for control and extinguishment of hydrocarbon fuel fires
  • Viscosity similar to a quality 3x3 AR-AFFF, enabling application with most properly-calibrated proportioning and discharge response devices and reducing the need for significant fires hardware changes

CHEMGUARD NFF 3x3 UL201 foam solution utilizes three suppression mechanisms intended for rapid fire knockdown and superior burnback resistance:

  1. The foam blanket blocks oxygen supply to the fuel and suppress fuel vapor with extended drain times for better vapor suppression after extinguishment.
  2. On polar solvent fires, liquid drains from the foam blanket and forms a polymeric membrane which protects the foam from destruction by the polar fuel, suppresses vapors, and seals the fuel surface.
  3. The water content of the foam solution produces a cooling effect for additional fire suppression.
